I see you, ya you, walking your stroller or your Toddler around the hood on a Thursday afternoon wondering what the name of the person you’re passing by is.
You look nice, you look like you have something other than “where is mommy’s nose”…
So let’s put your brain and smile to use and meet some other people in the hood ya?
Come on on Thursday, June 23rd to meet some other parents in Riverdale who are in the same stage of life as you.
What’s a clothing swap? Well, it’s when we get rid of alllll of those baby clothes your kids aren’t wearing anymore; and you don’t have to get on FB marketplace to do it.
How it works:
Pack a few items in giant-sized ziplock bags.. 4 or 5 is probably good. Put the size (0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-18, 2Y 3Y) in black writing ) and write (Girl or Boy). Please make sure the clothing is clean, stain-free and in good condition ( no old milk stained onesies)
You can bring multiple bags to swap but don’t feel pressure to pick up someone else’s stuff. It’s really to get rid of your things and hopefully find someone else’s stuff you like.
At the end of the event, I will be taking all of the remaining items and bringing them to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundations Red Door Shelters to give to mother’s in need. This is a big Win Win Win for us all.
What Else?
Obvi there’ll be Coffee, treats and fruit for the kids.
Honestly, It’s going to be a good time… so just come.. even if you’re shy to meet new people; I’ll be your friend 🙂
