Hi everyone! For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Danielle Demerino and I am a Toronto Realtor looking to make dreams come true. It may sound corny; but if you know me, you know that I take great pleasure in seeing people happy and seeing people accomplish their goals, especially when it comes to Toronto real estate and surrounding areas.

As a real estate agent in Toronto, I often have friends and family asking me “do you know how much this house sold for”? I have always been more than happy to share any information that I am legally allowed to share, but guess what? You don’t need me anymore. All you need is to download the app: HouseSigma or simply visit their website to sign up.

What is HouseSigma?

Now that your ears have perked up, let me tell you about it. HouseSigma is a leading application that allows users to view the values (past and present) of Canadian homes in real-time. In simpler terms, you can view the current listings (for sale and for lease), previous listings (sold, rented, terminated) along with the property details, listing history, key facts, home value, and comparables.

How to Use HouseSigma?

Once you have downloaded the app or visited the website, you will need to register. Don’t worry, this is safe. You won’t receive a bunch of emails, it is a one and done type of register.

Once you are logged in, there are a couple of different options when using the tool. You can search by property address in the search bar or you can click on the “Map Search”.

Once you find the property you are interested in, click on it and you will be able to view details such as images, listed price, sold price, estimated price, house details, listing history, etc.

If you would like to change the parameters of your search, the availability is at the top of the page. You can toggle between ‘For Sale’ or ‘For Lease’ and you can also turn the ‘Sold’ feature on and off. The map display allows you to view properties that are for sale using the orange circles and the properties that have sold using the navy rectangles.

So, go ahead and check it out! It may become a bit of an obsession if you are as into real estate as most of my peers!
