First and foremost I want to thank @royal_lepage for putting on such an amazing week at our chairman's club retreat in Barcelona. I met people from around the country that have inspired me to dig deeper and work smarter. I am impressed by all of you.

BUT

I carried around a heavy heart. - I couldn't disconnect from my feelings about Gaza & the brave students being beaten at Ivy League schools. I felt compelled to speak out even if It made people feel uncomfortable - because they should feel uncomfortable - there's nothing comforting about what's going on in the world.

As I sat at Sagrada Família - (sacred family) i cried as I wrote.

I wish you could feel what I felt today. This unbelievable half feeling of magic and horror. I witnessed pure joy on free children's faces as they danced around a marvel catching bubbles & paradoxilly I cannot ignore the mental images of the poor children of Gaza. Their bombs are Bubbles, their churches are ruins, their magic is now horror. I am in disbelief that people don't care. I am in disbelief that it isn't nagging at the back of their head all the time as they do their joyous things in a free world. I am in despair for those people - I am in despair for those children. While for a moment, I'm lit up by the magic right in front of me. I didn't know it was possible to feel two emotions so strongly at the same time. But here I am.
May peace be on the horizon & let us never forget ☮️✌🏼☮️✌🏼

Truth be told - I haven't travelled alone in over 5 years.. I've been super devoted to my role as mother... which is precisely why I deserved to DIP for a minute.

I've headed to Dublin first to get invigorated by local music. To be entrenched in the local's fight-for-your-rights attitude. They're all #ceasefirenow - don't doubt it for a minute.

I generally avoid the tourist's path but stopped to see Molly Malone (girl had two jobs & I know how that goes)

Made it to The Irish Museum of Modern Art to see the gardens, had coffee in Smithfield and have now retreated to @thechanceryhoteldublin to eat chocolate and drink tea (sweet-girl-dinner)

Catch you tomorrow when I head to Belfast to visit someone special to me.

The photographers texted me "wow this is sexy" as soon as they entered the suite to film. The guys @birdhousemedia see a lot of gorgeous places so I felt like we hit it out of the park with this Reno/Stage/Sell gem.

My clients have a fantastic style but we needed to update their loft before selling. We had all new white oak floors put down, we upgraded all of the appliances and refaced the cabinets Sage. We ran stone counters all the way up the backsplash and added a new vanity.

The 2 bedroom unit at The District Lofts feels super spacious and you can't beat the CN tower view from both floor to ceiling window sets.

I was really interested in knowing "what having help" meant for these high level buisness women...

That's just it right? How are women these days managing high powered careers, kids, houses, elderly parents, gym routines, learning a second language, keeping up with friendships and contributing to their communities!? How!? I wanted to know.

So here's my truth: I have help.. my kids are both in full time schooling, my mom lives down the street to help pick up and take care of them when I need her. Mom helps with meals and dishes sometimes and takes the kids to music or practice. I have a house cleaner once a week, a husband who contributes, and a paid babysitter when I need it. Thats how I do it.

At work I have a mom @pl_iberty .. without Paige I'd be lost - our whole team would be.

I have best friends that show up for me, that help me prep food for parties, that take care of my kids Iike they're own @sumerlove

I know it takes a village and I use my village.. I love asking for help.. because people love giving it.

Becoming her was a wonderful reminder of our support systems and need for vulnerability. We need other women to show their true colours so we know we can show ours too.

Thank you to my friend @sam_hewit_ for curating such a wonderful event for us all. You are a rockstar! And thanks to my fab guests for coming with!

Listing during March break is a no-no for family Neighbourhoods but it doesn't matter if you do for a downtown loft.

- [ ] August, everyone's on vacation aside from the people leasing

- [ ] November, things taper off, it gets cold and people put their plans on hold until the new year.
