Has it really been 8 years since I started this venture into advising people on what to buy, when to sell and how to get those lousy tenants the heck out of there??!

I’m in my thirties, it makes sense, I never really had a job before this, I just couldn’t. I tried working in more structured industries and for regular people but I was bored silly. It reminded me of when I was in elementary school and I’d finish my textbooks months before the rest of the class… I just felt like everyone was taking their sweet loving time for no good reason.

It’s no secret, I like to work fast, in a fast paced environment and sometimes my brain won’t shut off. So what does Danielle think about late at night when she’s trying to fall asleep?

It’s a combination of ‘how do I innovate an industry that has long held onto the ‘door knocking’ save your pennies mentality and ‘How can I maximize my fun and success with such a short period of time on this planet?”.

I usually come to the same conclusion – give into your creativity, don’t be afraid to take risks with who you are, be honest, get involved and don’t take yourself too seriously. Make sure everyone around you is taken care of and they’ll take care of you too. Help those in need with your earnings so your work takes on new meaning.. be part of something bigger than yourself.

It’s midnight, I don’t have much to say.. I just wanted to let out some of the passionate energy I’m feeling tonight as I reflect on how grateful I am that you all have put your trust in me over the years. Because of your faith in me I’m building a house in Ethiopia again this year with my commissions.. a family is goingkiss kiss to have a real shot at happiness because of YOU.

Thats’s all I’ve got for today.. there’ll be more tomorrow.

Dani
